I’ve been writing stories since I was 17 years old. Writing short stories was my first love, though I remember writing my plays when I was 13 or 14 in high school. My scripts were rejected by our school’s theatre company. Most of my stories were published in campus newspapers and magazines.

My first publication, national in scope, was when I was 21. My short story, Bona Bien, was published by Tomas, the refereed literary journal of the UST Creative Writing Center and Studies, and other published authors in the country. Since then, my works have begun to appear in refereed literary journals in the Philippines.

Between 2000 and 2017, my stories appeared in several refereed literary journals, such as Ani, Tomas, Dapitan, and Likhaan. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time or opportunity to collect all the details of these journals.
